PROPOSED ITINERARY:

Depart New Zealand and fly to Tokyo, via Australia, on Qantas (most likely an overnight flights, 2019 schedule to be confirmed)

On arrival in Tokyo you will be met at the airport and transferred to a central 4* Hotel in Tokyo.

This evening, enjoy a Welcome Function with your tour host, Des Coppins, with canapés and drinks included

After a leisurely breakfast (included daily) board a luxury coach for an Orientation Tour of Tokyo with lunch included after the tour.

This afternoon, take the local metro train to either Tokyo Station or Shingawa Station for the direct Bullet Train service to International Stadium Yokohama for this evenings first RWC 2019™ semi-final.

If New Zealand finish first in their Pool and win their quarter-final, they will be playing this evening. If they finish second in their Pool, but win their Quarter-final, they will play in Semi-final 2 tomorrow evening.

After the match return to central Tokyo and to your Hotel by train.

The day is at leisure to explore your surroundings.

This afternoon, take the local metro train to either Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station for the direct Bullet Train service to International Stadium Yokohama for this evenings second RWC semi-final.

RWC 2019 semi-final Two: Winner QF 3 v Winner QF 4 International Stadium Yokohama Kick-off 17:00

After the match return to central Tokyo and to your Hotel by train.

The next 4-days and 3-nights we have allowed for the group to head down to the Kyoto / Osaka region, or you could elect to stay in Tokyo. We have included the Japan Rail Pass, 3 nights accommodation in a 4 star hotel and an allowance for sights and functions.

If you stay in Tokyo be sure to visit the various neighborhoods each with their own interesting features and attractions from Harajuku to Roppongi, Shibuja to Shinjuku there is just so much to see and do. Take in the highlights of Tokyo, embrace the local culture and spend time sampling the local cuisine.

Your Tour Host will be available to provide suggestions each day and in the evenings. A regular meeting spot will be organised on tour where you can get together to share stories from your day and enjoy a few refreshments.

Today, the culmination of four-years of planning and hard work for two of the World’s best Rugby Union Nations will come to fruition.

This afternoon, take the local metro train to either Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station for the direct Bullet Train service to International Stadium Yokohama for this evenings RWC final.

After the match return to central Tokyo by train and join in on the last evening of celebrations in Tokyo.

Depart today on your overnight flight to Melbourne.

Arrive in Melbourne today, where you will be met and transferred to the Swanston Hotel Grand Mercure.

This evening enjoy our Cup Eve Gala Diner and Racing Show, hosted by Des, including dinner and beverages.

Fun, fashion and frivolity as you celebrate Australia’s most famous race day, followed by a post cup celebration in the Hotel.

Today is at leisure, with options to attend a country race meet at Kyneton, or a Yarra Valley Winery tour.

Enjoy “Ladies Day”, followed by a farewell gathering this evening.

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to New Zealand.
